Supplies you've landed on the right page.
Scooby Doo Party Supplies are based on
Scooby-Doo, the animated American television series and related works. Scooby-Doo is now an American media
franchise. It is being produced from 1969 till the present day. The first series, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, was
created by the writers Joe Ruby and Ken Spears for Hanna-Barbera Productions. The series was created for the
Saturday morning cartoon in 1969.
Hanna-Barbera and later Warner Bros. Animation
have created a lot of spin-off and follow-off animated series and numerous related works like, telefilms,
television specials, direct-to-video films and feature films. In some versions of Scooby Doo some new characters
have been added like Scooby's nephew Scrappy-Doo and cousin Scooby-Dum.
Scooby Doo was broadcast from 1970 to 1976 on
CBS and then it moved to ABC, where it was aired till 1986. From 1988 till 1991, ABC aired a spin-off of the
Scooby-Doo characters, A Pup Named Scooby-Doo. Later Warner Bros. Animation revived and updated the format of the
series and presented What's New, Scooby-Doo, which was aired from 2002 to 2006. Later another series, Shaggy &
Scooby-Doo Get a Clue! was broadcast till 2008 on The CW network.
The latest Scooby Doo series is Scooby-Doo!
Mystery Incorporated. It premiered in July 2010 on Cartoon Network and its repeats are frequently being aired on
Boomerang and Cartoon Network in many countries including the United States.
The first episode of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! was "What a Night for a Knight",
which premiered on Saturday, September 13, 1969 on the CBS network. The character of Scooby Doo was voiced over by
the veteran voice actor Don Messick and Casey Kasem, the top 40 radio DJ voiced as Shaggy. Actor Frank Welker
voiced for Fred, actress Nicole Jaffe for Velma and musician Indira Stefanianna Christopherson for
Daphne.
In each of the episodes Scooby and the
Mystery, Inc. gang, four teenaged members, Fred, Shaggy, Daphne and Velma arrived to a place in the "Mystery
Machine". There they come across supernatural creature like a ghost or a monster and come to know that it was
terrorizing the local people. They start looking for clues and are chased by the creature. But they don't stop
looking for the suspects and through their investigations they realize that the creature is some human who is
wearing ghost mask and costume and using the ghost story to cover up some crime. They then lay down a trap and
catch the criminal and unmask him. They get the villain arrested and while going to the jail the criminal says that
he wouldn't have got caught if these kids wouldn't have messed with him.
The characterization of the characters is very
strong in the series. Fred is depicted as the leader of the gang and is a determined detective. Velma is
intelligent and having analytical abilities. Daphne is depicted as danger-prone. Scooby Doo and Shaggy are cowards
and are motivated only by the hunger than having any willingness to solve the current mystery.
Scrappy-Doo, the tiny nephew of Scooby was
added to the series in 1979. Scooby-Doo's ratings were slipping at that time and it was an attempt to boost them
and the addition of Scrappy did succeed in regenerating interest in the show.
Scooby-Doo has received a Daytime Emmy
nomination in 1989 for A Pup Named Scooby Doo and a Daytime Emmy nomination for in 2003 What's New, Scooby-Doo's
Mindy Cohn in the category of "Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program".
Scooby-Doo was ranked twenty-second in the
list of 50 Greatest Cartoon Characters of All Time by TV Guide.
Scooby-Doo was placed thirteenth by the Animal
Planet in the list of the 50 Greatest TV Animals.
In 2005 UK network Channel 4 ranked
Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! at number one in its list of the 100 Greatest Cartoons of All Time.
During the period 2004 to 2005 Scooby Doo beat
The Simpsons by holding the Guinness World Record for the most episodes of any animated television series ever
produced in a year.
You may select Basic Party Pack from our
Scooby-Doo Birthday Party Supplies which includes all the stuff you need for 8 guests. Or you may go with the
Deluxe Party Pack from our Scooby-Doo Kids Party Supplies that has much more items than the Scooby-Doo Basic Pack.
The Scooby-Doo deluxe pack is also for 8 guests. If you need favor boxes as well, I would suggest you to choose the
combination of Deluxe Party Pack & 8 Favor Boxes from our Scooby-Doo Kids Birthday Party Supplies as it would
cost you much more if you purchase them separately. If you think that the number of guests may exceed 8 you should
consider Scooby-Doo Party Pack Add-On as it contains extra items for the extra guests. You may order Scooby-Doo
Party Favor Boxes separately as well.
I've personally used
Scooby-Doo Party Supplies for
my kid's birthday and through my personal experience I would recommend it to all Scooby-Doo lover
kids.
