NASCAR Party Supplies
NASCAR Party
Supplies is one of the most popular kids' birthday
party themes of all times. So, if you were searching for NASCAR Party
Supplies you've landed on the right page.
NASCAR Party Supplies are based on The
National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, popularly known as NASCAR. It is a family-owned and family-operated
business venture. NASCAR governs and sanctions multiple auto racing sports events. Bill France Sr. established
NASCAR on February 21, 1948. Basically NASCAR is the largest sanctioning organization that arranges different types
of stock car racing in the United States.
NASCAR sanctions and governs many racing
series like, the Nationwide Series, the Sprint Cup Series and the Camping World Truck Series. It also governs the
NASCAR Local Racing, the Whelen All-American Series, the Whelen Modified Tour and the NASCAR iRacing.com Series.
Basically it arranges over 1500 races in 39 states and Canada at over 100 tracks. It has also organized exhibition
races in Japan, Mexico and Australia.
The headquarters of NASCAR are in Daytona
Beach, Florida. It also has offices in four North Carolina cities: Conover, Concord, Mooresville and Charlotte. It
also has offices in Los Angeles, New York City, Arkansas and Bentonville. Its international offices are located in
Toronto and Mexico City.
In terms of television ratings NASCAR is one
of the most viewed professional sports in the United States. Actually, it is second only to professional football
in terms of viewership. NASCAR races are being watched in over 150 countries. Out of the top 20 attended single-day
sporting events in the world, NASCAR holds 17. There are more than 75 million NASCAR fans and its licensed products
sell for over $3 billion annually.
The first NASCAR car race was held on June 19,
1949 in the section ‘Strictly Stock’ and Jim Roper had won of that race. Some of the other famous NASCAR drivers of
older times are Darrell Waltrip, Dale Earnhardit and Bobby Allison, all of them being famous for their open wheel
racing activities. Outside of The United States, the first NASCAR competition held was in Stamford Park, Ontario,
Canada, near Niagara Falls, on July 1, 1952. The 200-lap race was won by Buddy Shuman.
NASCAR lays down certain rules in the area of
car construction from time to time. The two most important types of NASCAR cars are Super-speedway and the
Short-track. As the name suggests, the Super-speedway cars are for super speedways like Alabama’s Talladega and the
short-track cars are for short track raceways such as Tennessee’s Bristol Motor Speedway. Super-speedway cars
require more power and speed than short-track cars.
The winner of a NASCAR car race is chosen
according to a point system. If a driver lead by one lap of the race, they can also get bonus points. After 36
races are over, the driver who has scored highest scoring points is declared the winner of the racing series.
If more than one driver has scored same number of points then the driver with the most wins is declared as the cup
winner. If two drivers still score the same then the driver with the most second-place wins is declared the winner.
The system goes on with the third-place wins, fourth-place wins and so on until a winner can be
declared.
Daytona USA is a fun fair located at Daytona
Beach, Florida. Here the visitors can sit in the cars and enjoy car race thrills. The fair is sponsored by
NASCAR.
Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart
are some of the famous drivers in NASCAR car racing at current times.
In 1972, R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company became
the first title sponsor of The Cup Series.
Originally, the points system of NASCAR was
written on a bar room napkin by William France, Sr.
You may select Basic Party Pack from our
NASCAR Birthday Party Supplies which includes all the stuff you need for 8 guests. Or you may go with the Deluxe
Party Pack from our NASCAR Kids Party Supplies that has much more items than the NASCAR Basic Pack. The NASCAR
deluxe pack is also for 8 guests. If you need favor boxes as well, I would suggest you to choose the combination of
Deluxe Party Pack & 8 Favor Boxes from our NASCAR Kids Birthday Party Supplies as it would cost you much more
if you purchase them separately. If you think that the number of guests may exceed 8 you should consider NASCAR
Party Pack Add-On as it contains extra items for the extra guests. You may order NASCAR Party Favor Boxes
separately as well.
I've personally used
NASCAR Party Supplies for my
kid's birthday and through my personal experience I would recommend it to all NASCAR lover
kids.
