Backyardigans Party Supplies are based on
Janice Burgess' Canadian/American 3-D CGI-animated children's TV series, The Backyardigans. It is a co-produced by
Treehouse TV, and Nelvana, a Canadian animation studio. The series celebrated its debut on October 11, 2004. The
original director of the series was Robert Scull. In the middle of season one Dave Palmer stepped in as the
director of the show and since then he has directed all the episodes. Evan Lurie and Douglas Wieselman have
composed the music and Dan Yaccarino, the famous children's book author and illustrator has designed the
characters.
The series was aired on CBS from October 2004
till September 2006. The second season of the show debuted on October 30, 2006 in the UK. In the Canada, the third
season debuted in March 2008 and in the same year the show was aired in Australia. The fourth season of The
Backyardigans was aired in 2010 in Canada. It airs on Nick Jr. and Treehouse TV Canada.
Six DVDs from this series were

Knights and also the season 4 and series finale.
The Backyardigans (inspiration for
Backyardigans Party Supplies) features five sweet animated animal kids, who imagine that their backyard becomes an
adventure destination. It is an adventure series (with elements of music) and is aimed at kids of the ages between
2 and 10. There are five friends in the show, Uniqua, Pablo, Tyrone, Tasha, and Austin. Using their vivid
imaginations, all of them transform their backyard into out-of-the-world scenarios and perform cute adventures
there. In the end of every episode all rush to the house from the backyard to have snacks. Each episode features
dancing and four songs as well. Two vocal artists are used for each character, one for dialogues and the other for
singing. All actual children are used as vocal actors in the US and Canada.
Uniqua wears pink polka-dotted overalls. She
is self-confident, high-spirited and curious. On top of her head she has got a pair of antennae, but I am still to
figure out their function.
Pablo is a blue and white penguin with a
yellow beak. He wears a blue bow tie and a blue and yellow propeller beanie. He is the one who has the majority of
the ideas, and he is the one who almost always gets excited and nervous when he faces some
problem.
Tyrone is a red-haired orange moose. He wears
a red and blue striped long-sleeve shirt. He is quite opposite to Pablo in nature, but he is his best friend as
well. He is cool-headed, good-natured and laid-back but is fearful sometimes.
Tasha is a tiny yellow hippopotamus. She wears
red shoes and an orange flowered dress. Except as a mermaid, she wears shoes at all times. Whenever she is
frustrated, she always utters "Oh for goodness sakes!"
Austin is a purple kangaroo. He is fun-loving
but timid. He is a late-entrant into the show. He is friendly, smart and imaginative kid who can sometimes act a
bit villainous.
Apart from the above five there are some
occasional characters like Sherman the Worman, an alien mom, an alien baby named Boinga, R. O. V. E. R., a dog-like
surface vehicle and others.
You may select Basic Party Pack from our
Backyardigans Birthday Party Supplies which includes all the stuff you need for 8 guests. Or you may go with the
Deluxe Party Pack from our Backyardigans Kids Party Supplies that has much more items than the Backyardigans Basic
Pack. The Backyardigans deluxe pack is also for 8 guests. If you need favor boxes as well, I would suggest you to
choose the combination of Deluxe Party Pack & 8 Favor Boxes from our Backyardigans Kids Birthday Party Supplies
as it would cost you much more if you purchase them separately. If you think that the number of guests may exceed 8
you should consider Backyardigans Party Pack Add-On as it contains extra items for the extra guests. You may order
Backyardigans Party Favor Boxes separately as well.
I've personally used
Backyardigans Party Supplies for my kid's birthday and through my personal experience I would recommend it to all
Backyardigans lover kids.
